U13 Result
Well the boys did well again, fantastic in fact!!
Chris Pusey decided to change his tactics, knowing that this would be very tough field to beat. So he did the Paula Radcliffe tactic, of going out hard in fron t and staying there. I was alittle worried but, it paid off he came in strong and in first place in a time of 10mins 16secs.
He was very well supported by Matthew Carroll in 8th place in a time of 10 mins 46secs, just 30secs behind Chris.
Next was Perry Tomlin 18th in 12mins 10secs and finally backed up by James Irwin in 29th place 14mins 6 secs.
The team was 2nd overall.
U15 Results
Chris Gmuer ran in the under 15s race and also tried a brave tactic of going out hard and hanging on. This put him in 3rd place for most of the race being tracked by a boy from Team Kennet behind him, it was in the last mile that he was finally overtaken, but hung on to 4th place, a very gutsy run.
